Mandii and Grant Benson are the founders of Get a Little Personal a new and exciting Children's Business which originated in Australia in 2006.

The Beginning:

The BENSON’S first ventured into the children’s retailing and wholesaling business by purchasing the Australasian Distributors Rights for Mediak LLC – Indiana, US, Kids Music Box. Mediak Kids Music Box Australia www.kidsmusicbox.com.au was one of the 1st companies in Australia and New Zealand to specialise in personalised music CDs and products. In 2003 they established their Australasian Distributorship from their base in Brisbane Queensland. In the years that followed they created a substantial operation with Distributors assigned throughout Australia and New Zealand. Kids Music Box has established them as the premier personalised music business in Australia and to date have sold in excess of 50 000 CD's in the last 3 years alone.

Get a Little Personal (GALP) :

In late 2005, after fielding 100's of requests from predominately young families wanting to become Kids Music Box Distributors it became apparent to Grant and Mandii that whilst people had a genuine desire and interest to become Kids Music Box Distributors two factors where inhibiting their aspirations - TIME AND MONEY.

Grant and Mandii then set about performing due diligence on the Children's market which took them to New York, Hong Kong and Europe to find the right business model that was affordable and sustainable plus allowed people the most important asset of all TIME with their FAMILY.

Unable to find a model that fitted their goal, Mandii and Grant decided to formulate their own Direct Selling Business with interesting twists that gave consultants the flexibility not always allowed in traditional Party Plan.

By exhibiting their range at a number of major events including Capital Shows and Parents and Babies Expo's around Australia, they received important feedback from Mums that wanted to run their own Direct Selling Business from home.

After listening to Parents two distinct group emerged.

1) Those who loved the Party Plan and Catalogue Model

2) Those who have an increasing affinity with conducting business off the Web.

By listening and recognizing what people wanted it was decided to incorporate the mediums and allow their consultant the ability to do both.

Mandii and Grant have now launched their fabulous new company Get a Little Personal Pty Ltd, an exciting New Party Plan company.

About the Founders:

First and foremost, Mandii and Grant are the loving parents of two growing boys Cooper (6) and Jasper (3).

The Benson’s have that good old Aussie, get-up-and-go entrepreneurial spirit. They’ve a nose (and ear) for a good business opportunity and the nous, energy and ethics to build something from which they and their friends along with colleagues can be proud to enjoy and profit!

Grant and Mandii are continually creating and sourcing products from around the world with sourcing agents and factories based in America, Europe and Asia to ensure their consultants have access to the lastest and greatest.

Mandii and Grant Benson’s dream… “To provide everyone, particularly young parents, an opportunity to enjoy financial and personal fulfillment, by providing quality products that create happiness and enrich young lives”.

This dream has finally been realised.
